Ruifeng Optoelectronics (300241) announced on the evening of July 5 that based on the company's judgment on the future LED market and the demand for existing customers' orders, the company plans to use its own funds of 183 million yuan to invest in the company's main business SMD LED expansion project.

The construction content of this expansion project is to invest in the construction of 504 KK large-size LCD backlight LED devices, an annual output of 5918KK lighting LED devices, an annual output of 1500 KK automotive electronics and other devices, and the expansion of automotive electronics and other LED devices. The project construction period is from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014.

Ruifeng Optoelectronics said that the implementation of this expansion project will further enhance the company's overall strength in the LED packaging industry, consolidate and highlight the company's leading position in the large and large LCD backlight LED and lighting LED segment market.
