Littelfuse Introduces 500VDC SMD Fuses Optimized for Electric Vehicle Applications, Offering Up to 1500A Short-Circuit Protection

Littelfuse has announced a family of surface mount fuses with rated breaking currents up to 1500A for high voltage automotive applications up to 350VAC or 450/500VDC. The NANO2 885 series fuses are designed to protect electric vehicles from severe fault/short-circuit current damage and ensure reliable performance in harsh environments. Measuring just 10.86mm x 4.78mm, the 885 Series fuses are the smallest surface mount fuses on the market for 450/500VDC automotive applications.
