New Trends of LED Lighting Control Technology in Smart Plant Factory in China

As an efficient agricultural method for continuous crop production in artificially controlled environment, plant factories are of great significance to alleviating population, resources and environmental pressures, greatly improving resource utilization efficiency and improving China's agricultural modernization level. In view of the urgent demand for high-tech production in plant factories, based on independent innovation and integrated innovation, the company has formed a high-tech industrial system of intelligent plant factories with independent intellectual property rights in China, and upgraded China's scientific and technological competitiveness in the field of agricultural high-tech in the world. In January 2013, the Ministry of Science and Technology launched the National 12th Five-Year Plan 863 Program Intelligent Plant Factory Production Technology Research Project, led by the Institute of Agricultural Environment and Sustainable Development of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and composed 16 domestic leading scientific research units and enterprises. The research team is responsible for implementation. On September 26, 2014, the project team held a promotion meeting in Beijing. The theme experts of the 863 Program commented on and promoted the implementation of the project. Through the joint research of the past two years, the project has been developed in the plant factory LED energy-saving light source and its light environment intelligent control technology, three-dimensional multi-layer cultivation system and its supporting equipment, energy-saving environment control system based on light and temperature coupling, equipment development, nutrient solution Significant breakthroughs have been made in the key technical fields such as the development of online monitoring and vegetable quality control equipment and the development of intelligent management and control equipment for plant factories based on network management. Developed 3 sets of LED light source control software based on plant plant leafy vegetables and fruit and vegetable light environment optimization indicators, and developed 4 sets of LED light source devices for plant factories. Compared with fluorescent lamps, it has improved light energy utilization rate 30; 2 sets of fruit and vegetable multi-layer cultivation system and 2 sets of key operation equipment; 2 sets of light-temperature coupled energy-saving environmental control experimental platform and intelligent energy consumption measurement system; 2 experimental platform for plant plant nutrient solution online monitoring system, developed 3 Ultraviolet-ozone nutrient solution disinfection prototype, the maximum processing capacity is 5-6m3/h; the plant factory air temperature and humidity, light environment, carbon dioxide, liquid temperature, leaf temperature sensor prototype, and the sampler based on wireless data transmission are developed. And set up a technical light plant factory, natural light plant factory technology integration and demonstration base each. As of September 2014, the project has won 2 provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological achievements awards, 29 national invention patents, 9 software copyrights, and 65 papers, including 21 SCI/EI. Through the implementation of the 863 Program Intelligent Plant Factory Production Technology Research Project, the R&D platform for high-tech research in China's plant factories has been initially formed, and a number of technological achievements with completely independent intellectual property rights have been obtained, and a group of talented people who have been eager to compete have been cultivated. It provides a strong scientific and technological guarantee for China to accelerate the development of China's smart plant factory production technology and enhance the international competitiveness of plant plant high-tech products.
