At present, LED display screens have been widely used in commercial media, cultural performance markets, sports venues, information dissemination, news release, securities trading, etc., to meet the needs of different environments. The development prospects of LED displays are extremely broad, and are developing towards higher brightness, higher weather resistance, higher luminous density, higher luminous uniformity, high reliability and full color. The development of the display screen complements the development of its LED light source device. The LED device is gradually transitioning from the traditional in-line package to the SMD package, and has emerged in the outdoor full-color display market.
First, the development of LED display market
1. LED display market development trend and application field LED display development has gone through three stages: monochrome screen, two-color screen and full-color screen, among which, full-color screen is divided into in-line RGB full color and SMD RGB three-in-one Full color two forms. The introduction of blue LEDs in the 1990s played a decisive role in the realization of full-color displays. Figure 1 shows the development trend of LED displays.

The application of LED display involves many fields of social economy, including: (1) trading and financial information display. LED displays in this field accounted for more than 50% of domestic LED display demand in previous years, and are still the main demand industry for LED displays. (2) Airport flight dynamic information display. The LED display is the first choice for the Flight Information Display System (FIDS). (3) Display of passenger guidance information at ports and stations. (4) Information display of stadiums. (5) Road traffic information display. (6) Dispatch command center information display. Power dispatching, vehicle dynamic tracking, vehicle dispatch management, etc. are also gradually adopting high-density LED displays. (7) Business promotion and information display in service areas such as postal, telecommunications, shopping malls and shopping centers. (8) New products in advertising media. (9) Performances and gatherings. Video broadcasts for public and political purposes are becoming more common on large displays. (10) Exhibition and leasing.
