Vishay Intertechnology ( http:// ) comes out with the VLMW71S2S3QN-GS08, a warm white SMD LED. The super-high brightness surface mount LED has a high flux output;

Featuring a 120∑ viewing angle, it has a compact package outline: 6 (L) x 6 (W) x 1.5mm (H). It offers an ultra-low height profile (- 1.5 mm) and a low thermal resistance (RthJP = 18 K/W).

Designed for high current drive (up to 350 mA), it conforms JEDEC moisture sensitivity level 2a and is compatible to IR reflow soldering. It is also compliant to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC and in accordance to WEEE 2002/96/EC.

ESD-withstand voltage is up to 2 kV according to JESD22-A114-B 20784. With its extremely high-level of brightness and the ultra-low high profile, which is only 1.5 mm, the warm-white LED is highly suitable for both Conventional lighting and specialized application such as automotive signal lights, traffic lights, channel lights, tube lights and garden lights among others.
